Fautea's beaches, with thei Genoese Tower, are beautiful sandy beaches that plunge quickly towards
the open sea.
A nice path connects the Genoese tower to the beach of L'Ovu Santu, a litlle further south, a
long and preserved beach with a scent of immortelle.
The little town of Sainte Lucie offers some nice quality shops and restaurants as well as a
supermarket.
The Spar (supermarket), the butcher, the tobacco shop, the grocery and the green grocer are all
situated within a walking distance.
The bakery, at the other end of town, delivers bread and croissants to our bar-restaurant.
We also recommend two restaurants where you can go on foot : Il
Grazie Mille, a fresh pasta restaurant, and La
Poissonnerie, to eat fresh fish in a lovely setting.
The Tourist office is pretty
close as well.

Bavella's pass and needles shelter wonderful walks for all levels that will plunge you into the
Corsican wild, amongst Laricio pines and Corsican bush.
The luckiest, or the most skilful, will have the chance to observe unique species, like the
Corsican mouflon, the Corsican nuthatch or the bearded vulture.
You can also practise canyoning as the region is also home to some of the most beautiful canyons
of the island, like "La Vacca" and "La Purcaraccia".
Heart of South Corsica, the Alta Rocca region is home to beautiful villages and records of Corsican
history, like San Francescu covent in Sainte Lucie de Tallano that dates back to the 15th century,
or Cucuruzzu's menhirs, dating back to the Bronze Age.
Sainte Lucie de Tallano, Quenza, Levie, Zonza, Carbini, Serra di Scopamena, all these
picturesque villages will allow you to discover the local architecture, to taste our local products
and to learn more about our nature and culture while walking on one of the various paths of the
area.
You can also visit the Museum of Prehistory in Levie or the eco-Museum of olive oil in Sainte
Lucie de Tallano.
Do we really need to introduce Bonifacio? The white cliffs' city is a visual delight.
This millenial city, with its 120 km of coasts, its shops and breathtaking landscapes offers
activities for everyone.
We recommend getting "lost" in the citadel's streets, walking one of the various city's path,
eating some fresh fish in a good restaurant or sunbathing on one of the numerous beaches.
